I stayed at the hotel for three days with a group tour, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The location is unbeatable, just a minute from the MRT station and surrounded by vibrant streets. Our room was surprisingly spacious and clean, and the friendly staff managed our check-in smoothly. The convenience of having a 7-Eleven right next door was a huge plus, making snacks and drinks easily accessible.
I recommend this hotel.

Honestly nothing too much trouble. Pretty standard and ideal hotel, excellent base for 4 nights in Taipei. Neat and budget room with 2 single beds and TV, for example. Favourable and perfect location to Ximending. Busy area close to Ximending shopping district, ximen stn, and shops, restaurants and a night market.

I recently stayed at a hotel for a short solo trip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was fantastic—just steps away from the MRT station and vibrant attractions. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was accommodating, even with a language barrier. My room, though small, was clean and quiet, with efficient air-conditioning, which made my stay comfortable. I appreciated having easy access to the convenient 7-11 lobby for snacks and supplies.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The restaurant here was clean for breakfast, we both ordered savoury dishes. It was conveniently located, where Karst Gallery is easily reachable.

Super convenient location right near the train station made getting around a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the complimentary food vouchers. Plus, the room was clean and gave me a decent level of comfort for some much-needed downtime after long meetings.
It wasn’t all perfect. The walls were pretty thin, so I could hear traffic and chatter from the corridor, which made it tough to get a good night’s sleep. the bathroom hadn’t been stocked with hand soap, which was a bummer. Would’ve been nice to have some basic amenities like a refrigerator too!

I stayed for two nights while attending a concert and was delighted with my experience. The location was unbeatable, just steps from the MRT and the vibrant Ximending area. My clean, compact room had a large bathroom, and I appreciated the free coffee and pastry voucher. the hotel offered convenient drinking water stations and a 7-11 in the lobby, making late-night snacking easy.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay, especially with the great value for money considering the central location and easy access to shopping and dining. The room, while compact, was clean and well-furnished, and the staff were professional and accommodating.
Breakfast delights could improve by offering a wider variety of options.

Bring earplugs for noise, and inquire about cleaning services at check-in, as they may not be automatic during your stay.

amazing, amazing, amazing
I was deeply impressed by the staff, who communicated effortlessly in English. The hotel's location is ideal, as it's just steps away from the vibrant Ximen Walking Street, where I indulged in delicious street food. The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a strong hot water supply for those relaxing baths after a day of exploration.

Room assignment in alley while noisy bar played music until dawn!!! Small, old-fashioned accommodations with inconsistent cleaning service!!! AC issues need immediate attention!!! Ensure proper communication about housekeeping rules!!!

missingWrote a review on 08 Decnoisy hallways
No bidet in the bathroom, a letdown. The breakfast situation is chaotic. Instead of an on-site meal, you get vouchers for a nearby convenience store, which barely covers anything. Check-in time is too late at 4 PM, and checkout is too early at 11 AM. The room lacked thorough cleaning upon arrival, with leftover trash from previous guests. Noise from the hallway is disruptive, especially without carpeting to help absorb sound. No hand soap provided in the bathroom-strange oversight.

Wicked close to the MRT, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was neat, though kinda small without a window. Breakfast buffet was a nice surprise. I really liked the quick check-in and out. Just a bit noisy, though, could hear the hallway chatter at night.

The hot pot at Mala Yuanyang is awesome, bursting with flavor! The complimentary vouchers for ice cream were such a sweet treat.
Check-in at 4pm felt a bit late. I'd love a 3pm start next time. Despite that, everything else was great!
